2010 ASRC

Although we struggled with availability of players and coaching staff this year, we pulled together a team for the ASRC. Although we were defeeated by both Navy and Army, a number of players were selected for the ASRU squad and LAC Brian White was named player of the series.

Burn-Merz Shield

Since 2005, the RAAF and RNZAF rugby union teams have competed annually for the Burn-Merz Shield. Although the Kiwis have dominated the series, the Aussies won in 2009. In 2010, the Burn-Merz Shield test match will probably be played in Malaysia in October as part of a three-way tournament with the RMAF rugby team. Details will follow.
